“We had an RV breakdown in Lázaro Cárdenas and were towed to the ‘Best Diesel Mechanic in the World’ according to the tow truck driver. We spent New Years Eve and a few more days too in the back of the mechanics shop.
We actually had a great time. His family was warn and inviting and our kids loved playing with all the neighborhood kids.
It’s because of such positive experiences that we think of Lazaro Cardenas so fondly. In reality it is an industrial port city.”
