The Stadium is central but lacks amenities
Camping in the parking lot of a sport stadium doesn’t sound that exciting …and it isn’t. For approximately $5 you are provided with use of washrooms (no showers) and water but little else. The up side is that there is round the clock security and plenty of light. A drawback and a blessing.
This stadium is the best location to explore central Chihuahua.
Getting there
Directions: From Highway 16 turn North on Ave Tecnologico– a main street in the city of Chihuahua. (The Ave is also an extension of Highway 45 from CD Juarez.) You will see a very large treed park on the West side. Turn west on Division del Norte.
