This is a border crossing is busy and goes in the middle of downtown Calexico and Mexicali. It is well signed and direct but because it is downtown, it is a little unnerving with a big rig.
Going North note that you must jog to get on the street called Cristobel Colon which runs parallel to the border.
Directions: 
South US Highway 111 through Calexico.
North Drive Highway 5 north to Mexicali and stay on the street as the name changes to Mateos. You will reach a larch roundabout. Exit on Calle Moria Morelos and this will lead to Cristobol Colon. Make a left and be prepared to wait in line.
